That said, the button lets you use the lamp right out of the box, provided there’s a little bit of charge when it arrives. Placement of the button means you’ll need to pick up the lamp every time you want to control it manually – while the button only requires a small amount of force to activate, it’s enough to topple the device when on its stand.
